Why Muslims for Progressive Values in Canada?
Because we believe if you say you are a Muslim, you are a Muslim. Because we believe we are all equal before Allah swt and we are inspired by His Mercy and Kindness. Because we believe that Allah swt meant for us to know and respect those of other faiths and to live peacefully among them. Because we believe at least half our leaders are women and must be given that opportunity. Because it is the goal of Muslims for Progressive Values Canada to build a Muslim community here in Canada based on these values, to support and help our fellow Muslims and to support and help our fellow citizens, Muslim and/or Non Muslim.
