NAZIA QUAZI IS FREE! Though the struggle continues for women and religous minorities and anyone who supports freedom and human rights in Saudi Arabia. The guardians of the Kabaa are unfit. Please check out this page for the history of Nazia Quazi's ordeal in Saudi Arabia. Twenty four year old Canadian citizen, Nazia Quazi, is stranded in Saudi Arabia, unable to leave because Saudi law requires her father's permission, which he will not provide. We are working with Human Rights Watch to help free Nazia Quazi. Contact your local MP and ask him/her what s/he is doing. Muslims for Progressive Values Ottawa and Shahla Khan Salter fully support Nazia Quazi. Any comments on any sites that state that we do not support Nazia Quazi are not ours and are false. Please see our letter to the Saudi Ambassador to Canada (email address:caemb@mofa.gov.sa ):
Please see the letter of Dr. Timothy Simboli of Family Services a la famille Ottawa supported by the Ottawa Coalition to End Violence Against Women (OCEVAW), dated April 12, 2010.
